Birthday Cake
Every year Husband and I make each other a birthday cake. Any choice, any shape, it’s yours. However, with my oven fusing itself on Friday night, this is an impossible feat.
On Sunday my dear friend Laydeepants turned up for Laydee Day with a present for me - Chocolate Almond Torte. Sinfully rich, gluten and dairy free, we’ve been making our way through this. It was a beautiful surprise as I’d been a bit sad face about not having a cake - and Laydeepants hadn’t known this. How I love my friends.
