How I Love Bread


I know, not the first bread photo. I can promise you it won’t be the last. I made the ‘fauxgettes’ last weekend and I can still and taste them.
So soft and light on the inside, crunchy on the outer. Hubby eyed them off and asked if he could take one for lunch. We bickered briefly when I told him he could take a small one.


‘You can’t eat all of them!’
‘I can. Watch me.’


I sent him to work with a big roll the next day.


See, in our house, I make bread for me and Hubby is happily king of the supermarket markdown bread. I’m the carbohydrate fusspot. And these were worth the fuss.
